Range-to-Image Render - Privacy Policy
Range-to-Image Render add-on requires you to grant permissions to several services associated with your Google Account.
It uses the simple and secure OAuth 2 protocol to get data from the user’s Google account and does not have access to your account password.
Here’s a summary of the permissions that the add-on requires and why it requires access to these services.
1. Range2Image – Permissions Explained
See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Drive files. The app will create a Folder on the Drive root directory called "Range-to-Image Render" and paste rendered image files to this folder.
See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets. The app needs to read the selected range from a sheet to convert it into *.png
Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications. The app should use the HTML sidebar because it uses PDF URL to get the PDF first and then uses PDF.gs and Canvas to convert PDF into PNG.
Connect to an external service. This is needed to create PDF content in Apps Script, with the urlFetch method. This allows users to convert ranges to images without the need to share Spreadsheets with anyone on the Web.
2. Range2Image — Disclosure
(App’s) use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
